Pat & Lynn Dufek - Owners / Founders
In 1997 Pat and Lynn Dufek attended a small business start up convention in downtown Minneapolis, MN, in search for a small business idea that they could start on their own, operating from their home in their spare time. What they found and decided to purchase was a Press-A-Print machine and resin stamp making equipment that could be operated out of a spare bedroom in your home. They brought all of the equipment home and Twin Pines Imprinting was born (named after the two small 4' tall, twin, pine trees that were growing in the front yard, still there today towering 30+ feet).
Producing custom golf balls, pens, coffee mugs, hockey pucks, golf tees and all kinds of other similar products for local businesses and athletics with their personal brand. We did all the design work at Kinkos, produced everything in-house, and delivered all orders to our customers ourselves. Almost 30 years later we are still producing the same custom products people love but now we outsource the production to manufacturers all over the world, so we can focus on sales, relationships with our vendors and building customer/client relationships vs being a manufacturer. However, in the last decade, we have grown into a local decorated apparel supplier, with all of the equipment in house to meet your custom decorated apparel needs, with multiple multi head embroidery machines, multiple heat presses, manual and automated, as well as hat and manual heat presses for the unique looks you are looking for.
Nathan Dufek - CEO (Chief Everything Officer)
Joined the company immediately, traveling with Pat and Lynn to Idaho Falls for a week long training at the Press-A-Print headquarters to learn how the new equipment works . At the time, Nathan was 14 years old, in middle school, spending his free time in between hockey games, down in the Twin Pines basement running the Press-A-Print machine, printing golf balls, hockey pucks, coffee mugs etc....unknowingly building the love and passion for Twin Pines, the industry, the clients and all of the people he helps bring joy to with producing and delivering custom products and apparel with one's personal brand. Providing others happiness and excitement when delivering custom merch that may not have existed previously is what drives him. Now, is Twin Pines head of sales, operations and future navigation.
Kyra Brask - Production Manager
Twin Pines first ever non-family related employee. Hired in early 2024, she quickly became the head of all production. Kyra comes to Twin Pines with many years of experience, spending time with various companies within the same industry, honing in different production skills from each, shipping, receiving, apparel decoration, heat pressing, embroidery, digitizing, purchasing, sorting, packaging, distribution, and a high level of positive cognitive ability. Unknowingly that all of these individual skills one day would be combined into one position. And oh boy, are Twin Pines and all of its clients thankful to reap the benefits of such a talented individual being a part of the team.
